Protecting Your Smile

Preventative Dentistry

Preventive dentistry is the foundation of lifelong oral health. Our goal is to help you avoid dental problems before they start by focusing on early detection, gentle cleanings, and proactive care. These services keep your teeth and gums healthy while reducing the need for more extensive treatment in the future.

In line with American Dental Association recommendations, we encourage patients to schedule routine check-ups and cleanings every six months unless more frequent care is needed. During these visits, we monitor your periodontal and dental health and perform an oral cancer screening. Early detection is essential to successfully treating any dental condition.

Dental sealants are a highly effective preventive treatment. By applying a tooth-colored material to the pits and fissures of your teeth, we smooth their natural contours, making them easier to clean and less vulnerable to decay. This simple, painless procedure offers significant protection against future cavities.

Periodontal (gum) disease affects roughly 75% of the population. In advanced cases, gum surgery is often needed to control the condition. Our office emphasizes the latest non-surgical periodontal therapies, medications, oral hygiene techniques, and home-care devices. Our goal is always to minimize—or even eliminate—the need for periodontal surgery.

Oral cancer screenings are an essential part of every comprehensive dental examination. During your visit, we carefully evaluate the tissues of your mouth—including your tongue, lips, cheeks, gums, and throat—for early signs of abnormalities. These screenings are quick, painless, and non-invasive, but they play a critical role in detecting concerns at the earliest and most treatable stages. Regular screenings provide peace of mind and support your overall health and well-being.

Enhancing Your Smile

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our cosmetic dentistry services are designed to help you achieve a brighter, more confident smile. Using modern techniques and proven materials, we offer natural-looking enhancements that complement your facial aesthetics while preserving the health of your teeth.

If your teeth are stained, yellowed, or discolored, professional whitening can brighten your smile quickly. We offer take-home whitening trays for daily use, as well as ZOOM in-office whitening for immediate results.

Composite (tooth-colored) fillings have become the standard in modern dentistry, while silver/mercury amalgam fillings continue to decline in use. For more than a decade, we have offered exclusively white composite fillings—once considered the cosmetic dentist’s dream for their natural appearance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Composite materials can be blended to match virtually any tooth shade and require far less removal of healthy tooth structure. Because composite adheres to the tooth, the restoration can be smaller and more conservative, and it is more difficult for decay to form underneath. Amalgam fillings often shrank over time, allowing bacteria to seep in. Composite resins are also environmentally safe and eliminate concerns about mercury exposure or disposal.

Restoring Function & Health

Restorative Dentistry

When teeth are damaged, worn, or missing, our restorative treatments rebuild strength, function, and appearance. We use durable, natural-looking materials and conservative techniques to give your smile long-lasting support.

Crowns are used to restore teeth that are badly broken or fractured. They cover the entire tooth, adding strength and enhancing appearance. Crowns may be made of gold, porcelain, or a precious-metal base covered with porcelain.

Titanium dental implants replace the root of a missing tooth and provide a stable foundation for a crown. Although more involved than other tooth-replacement procedures, implants have a predictable success rate of 90–95% and offer the closest experience to a natural tooth.

A dental bridge is a reliable option for replacing a missing tooth when an implant is not possible. Crowns are placed on the teeth adjacent to the empty space, and a prosthetic tooth is connected between them. This restores both the function and appearance of a natural tooth.

In certain situations, dentures are the most effective solution for restoring missing teeth and improving overall function.

A root canal may be necessary to save a tooth that would otherwise need extraction, typically when infection is present inside the tooth. Once the infection is removed and the tooth is fully restored, patients can expect many years of continued, comfortable function.

Our office is fully equipped to perform a variety of oral surgery procedures, including tooth extractions and minor soft-tissue corrections.

TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder refers to a range of problems involving the jaw joint’s complex structure. Our practice is committed to pursuing every non-surgical treatment option before considering more invasive procedures.
